In order to attend the People to People Mediterranean Traditions Trip in June/July 2010 I must raise about $7000. by May 1st. I have only raised about 10% so far. My mother and I have struggled to get by even though she has worked as many as three jobs. My biological father is in prison and my step father tries to help but it is a lot of money to raise on a truck driver's salary. Now I am almost sorry I said those things because frankly God has been good to me and I don't want your pity. I just need money to make this trip happen. I work very hard in school. I play softball for the Jr High team. I am in the marching band-I play flute. I can also play piano and guitar and hope to write songs and stories that live long past me...So thanks for reading this I am just an ordinary girl who wants to take an extraordinary trip to make friends overseas and change the world's impression of America one person at a time...
